Christchurch, March 11. A motor car containing hve persons upset near Coalgate yesterday owing to a tyre blowing out. Richard Bolstad was killed outright and the others ,>y,ere rendered unconscious. ' ‘ Salt and Hern were admitted to the hospital and the others taken to their homes. It was reported today that Salt and Hem were progressing favourably. Hem underwent an operation and his condition has considerably improved. Salt’s condition is not considered serious.
