FOXTON FIRE BRIGADE.
Superintendent, Sporle, of the Feildlng Brigade and Foreman Hitrhins, of the Palmerston North Brigade, recently visited the local brigade at the invitalion of Superintendent Hamer, with the object of instructing the local brigadesmeu in methods of drilj as carried out by the visitors respective brigades. The instruction given was much appreciated and the men congratulated upon their efficiency and enthusiasm. Superintendent Hamer recently visited the Hamilton and Te Aroha brigades and obtained useful information in respect to die drill in those centres, which, he says, will assist him to standardise local tire drill.
