CAR OVERTURNS.
PASSENGERS SERIOUSLY INJURED. Napier, February 27. J. E. Peach and G. Al. Smart, owner and chief salesman of J. E. Peach and Go., Napier, were both seriously injured and had to be sent to hospital as the result of their car overturning on the Awafoto road this morning. Both righthand tires burst, and, the car overturning, both occupants were pinned under the ear, which was righted single-handed, by an early arrival named Gilbert. The extent of the men’s injuries is not known.
