DECISION RESERVED,
Christchurch, Last Night. The trial of Russell Dytes Martin was concluded to-day. Evidence for the Crown was closed and permission was given to withdraw one charge of allegedly making a false declaration in respect of the Bakers’ Union, Mr Donnelly saying there was not sufficient evidence to support it.
