HIGH COMMISSIONER'S REPORT.
The High Commissioner’s cable, daled the llith inst., reads: “Hemp, Manila market, steady to iirm and good business has been done. ‘J’ grade, February-April shipments, sold at £36 15/-, to £37, and values, March-May shipments £35 10/and sellers. New Zealand market continues quiet, high points fifty April shipments quoted at £35, fair £33.”
