Certain alterations have been efTeeled to the interior of the house in order that it will eomplv in every particular to the requirements of the Act governing sueh institutions. Nurse Powell is a fully qualified maternity nurse and is possessed of high medical testimonials. Prior jo coming to Foxton, Nurse Powell followed her profession in Napier and Shannon and was resident in the latter town for seven veers.
