The following letter has been received by the Chairman of the Poultry Association from the Minister of Agriculture, which should he of interest to local poultry fanners : “Dear Sir. —I have to acknowledge receipt of yours of the 29th ult., with reference to prices and supplies of fowl wheat, and have to thank you for your expression of appreciation of the efforts which are being made to put this matter on a satisfactory footing. 1 am not in a position at the moment to indicate just what will be done in this connection, hut 1 assure you the facts of the position are known, and every effort will he made to remedy the matter at the earliest possible date. 1 hope to he able to make a statement on this subject, which, I think, will be satisfactory to poultry farmers at no very distant date.”
