Gisborne, Last Night, i>u points, Eddie Parker, of Hastings, the challenger, to-night beat Jack Heeney, of Gisborne, the holder of the middleweight profession;! I championship. Parker received a. bad bash under the left eye, which was very troublesome for several rounds. Much of the earlier fighting was at close range, which suited Heeney, but as the light progressed and became more open, Parker began to pile up the points, and in the last round had matters practically his own way.
