The Taranaki Jockey Club’s Jubilee .Meeting opened on Thursday, in tine weather. The amount that passed through the “to te” was £28,346 10s, as compared with £24,010 Is for the same day last year, an increase of £4,336. Results.—
Waitara Hurdles.—Malingerer 1, Savory 2, Penona 3. Won by a half length. Time, 3.19 2-5. Juvenile Handicap. —Zaragoza 1, Dangle 2, Glengariff 3. Won by a nose. Time, 1.2. Mimi Welter. —Esthonia 1, Alarm 2, Crossfire 3. Won by half a length. Time, 1.28. .Jubilee Cup.—Cold Steel 1, Landslide 2, Muraahi 3. Won all the way bv three lengths. Time, 2.35. Moturoa Electric Handicap. — Glimpse 1, Blue Peter 2, Midnight Camp 3. Won by a nose. Time, 1.2 2-5. Flying Handicap.—Rational 1, ITipo 2, Trapuka 3. Won by a neck. Time, 1.14. Okato Hack Handicap.—Vindictive 1, Thunderclap 2, Skylight 3. Won by a neck. Time ,1.50. Timam Hack Handicap. —The Lamb 1, Hori 2, Mass Mickey 3. Won by one and a-half lengths, ’time, 1.14 4-5.
