BOWLING.
Particulars of the fortheoming Afnnawatu Centre tournament, to he held at Palmerston N. on Friday, Saturday and Monday, April 18th, 19th and 21st next, are now to hand, and may he seen posted in the local pavilion. The official opening takes place at 8.3(1 a.m. on 18th April, by the President, .T. A. Nash. Esq., M.P. Entrance fees, 12s 6d per player. Entries close on Bth April, with the secretary, Mr A. F. Wimsett. 2ftl Church Street, Palmerston X.
The Terrace End Bowling, Tennis and Croquet Club is holding an electric light garden fete on the Club’s grounds on Saturday, 23rd February, commencing at 2 p.m., and 6.30 p.m. A poster giving details of the function will he found in the pavilion.
The visit to Feilding Club, which it was expected would take place on Wednesday next, has been postponed, on account of it being inconvenient for the Feildig Club to accommodate visitors on that day.
