INDECENCY CHARGE.

Christchurch, Last Night. Notice of motion for a writ has been issued through the Supreme Court, and served upon All’ Wyveru Wilson, Stipendiary Alagistrate, restraining him from sentencing Lionel Irving on a charge of indecency preferred against him yesterday. The application was made on the ground that Irving had not been informed of his right of trial by jury, and that, although l|a pleaded not guilty, a plea of guilty was entered against him. The matter will come before Air Justice Adams on Saturday.
