BOWLING.
Trott’s eleventh successive match for the Hum Cup on Saturday was his unlucky one, says the Standard. Feilding were the challengers and they took the trophy back with them, it was somewhat of a coincidence that Trolt originally took the cup from a Feilding link. Practically all through Saturday’s was an exciting contest but the Feildbig team played better bowls than the local four and on the whole deserved their narrow victory of two points. Alilleu, who lead for the victors, played a splendid game.
