BOWLING.
The following rinks have been selected to represent Foxton Club in the third round of the Triangular Contest, to be played at Foxton on ilie 20th instant:
Rail, Pearson, McColl, Admore (s). Thomson, Healev, Christie, and Nye (s).
' Mattar, Harr, Huntley and Smith (s).
Simpson. St-olir, Jno. Ross and Hoove (s). Emergencies : —Howe. Heasman. Whiblev, Walker. Downes, Winstanley,
Any person included in the foregoing’ rinks unable lo be present are requested to notify the secretary forthwith.
At a recent meeting of Committee of the local Club, one new member was elected, and two tendered their resignation. The matter of certain allegations of dissatisfaction on the part of a few members was brought before <lie Committee and discussed, and it was resolved that the following lie a rule to he observed on all occasions when it can be applied:—“That where a friendly rinks game is in progress, and there are two other members wailing to play, the two seconds in the rinks engaged in play shall drop otil of the rinks game and make a further pairs game with the two disengaged members.”
New dates are announced for the Hamilton Bowling Tournament, viz.. March 24th, 25th and 26th. The rearrangement of dates has been considered advisable owing to the previous dates conflicting with other tournaments. The poster will be found in the local Club’s pavilion.
