CHILD CRUSHED UNDER LORRY.
Auckland, Last Night. A fatal accident occurred at Mangere this afternoon, the victim Thelma May Portersheld, aged 6 years and 4 months, fell under a Heavily laden motor lorry and was crushed to death. The child was returning Horn school accompanied by a sister, aged eight. The later climbed on the lorry as it was passing, attempting to puff her little sister up, but the deceased slipped and Tell beneath a wheel
