STONE’S CASE.

DISQUALIFICATION REMOVED. Christchurch. Last Night. At a meeting of the New Zealand Boxing Council to-night, H. Stone, whose case had been dealt with at a previous meeting appeared and made a statement regarding' the circumstances in which he had been convicted and fined in the Magistrate’s Court at Napier. The previous resolution of the Council deciding not to grant, him a license for a period of three months, was rescinded and the following resolution carried: “After hearing Stone’s personal statement regarding the circumstances leading up to his recent conviction, it is resolved that he be granted a license and that he be notified .that such license is subject to review at any time.”
