SCHOOL EXCURSION AND PICNIC.

The annual school picnic and railway excursion will take place on Wednesday next. The picnic will be held on the Ashhurst domain. The children will be catered for by the committee and parents will be supplied with hot water and milk t ree of charge.

The train will leave Foxton at 7.50 a.m. and arrive at Aushhurst at 10.5 a.m. The fares are as follows: —Adults 3/-, senior scholars 2/-, children under 15 years 1/6. Tickets may tie obtained from the schoolmaster or ttie secretary' up to 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Tickets may also be obtained on the train. In this connection it is requested that in order to avoid delay and inconvenience. tickets be purchased before en training.
