PORT ELLIOTT WRECK.
SALVAGE WORK SUSPENDED.
- Gisborne, January 24. Salvage operations at the Port Elliot have been suspended since Sunday, owing to the weather. The
sea has been moderate to heavy, and has prevented the lightering of the cargo though it is not affecting the stranded vessel.
