Six*, —Would it not be a saving in road maintenance in the Manawatu County, if that body were to straighten the road and avoid the dangerous bends at Bainesse? The road follows the track the calf made through the bush when it lost its mother about a century ago. Joking apart, sir, these bends are very dangerous to the travelling public and from an economic view point should be favourably considered by the County.—Yours etc.,
