FIXE DRAMA AT TOWN HALL.
Do you like mystery, thrills and suspense. If you do don’t fail to be one of the many persons who will see the Hodkinson production of “Fifty Candles,” which will be shown at the Town Hall to-night. In it you will see scenes of the Orient with the sinister hand of intrigue reaching out from the night. How the son of a man who was murdered brought about the arrest of the killer. A Court room scene on a languid day in far off Honolulu, leading up to one of the biggest climaxes ever screened. How a curio bought by an Englishman in Shanghai led to a crime in San Francisco twenty years latex 1 . Marjorie Daw and Bertram Gi’assby play the leading parts. Comedy: “Should a Husband Tell"?” prices as usual. The Peter B. Kyne story “The Go Getter” will be screened next Wednesday. Patrons are also advised to watch for the early screening of “Down Home,” and Rex Beach’s personally supervised procluction: “The Xe’er Do Well.” ROYAL PICTURES To-night patrons of the Royal Theatre will have the pleasure of ■seeing the famous Douglas Fairbanks once again in one of his best productions, entitled “The Nut.” A pictui-e full of laughs, thrills, surprises. See Doug, at his best. There is also a comedy entitled “Two Cylinder Courtship.” This is a BigFour programme and pi-ices will remain as usual, 9d and 1/6, children half price. On Monday night “Seeing’s Believing,” will be shown. This is a Metro special picture presenting Viola Dana. The picture was adapted by Edith Kennedy. Patrons are reminded of a number of fine pictures to be shown at the Royal next week, a few of which are: “Wild Cat Jordan,” “The Alan they Could Not Hang,” “High Speed.” Coming soon: Alai'y Picklord in “Suds,” Jackie Coogan in “Oliver Twist,” and “When the Kellys were Out.” DANCE.
