POWER BOARD NOT ANXIOUS TO PURCHASE. At Monday’s meeting of the Horuwlienua Power Board the deferred letter from t lie Fox ton Borough Council regarding the setting up of a committee of the Board to consider the possibility of the Board purchasing the Foxt.on Gas Works, was considered in committee and a motion carried replying to the Borough Council that the Board could not see its way to fall in with the suggestion at the present time.
