VALEDICTORY.

A very pleasant time was spent on Wednesday evening in Pcrreau’s rooms, when the Fox ton Association Football Club fa rewelled their caplain, Mr A. Jenvey. on the eve of bis departure from Foxton. During Ibe evening Air A. N. Smith (president) on behalf of the Club, took the opportunity of presenting Afr fenvey. with an oak clock as an evidence of I he good feeling Club members bad for their captain, also wishing AFr and Airs Jenvey success in their new sphere. Mr Jenvey suitably replied, thanking all members for their kind wishes. Tlie remainder of the evening was pleasantly spent, and was brought io a close by the singing of “Auld Lung Syne.”
