Alessrs Levin and Co. Ltd., have received the following cable from their London agents, dated the 4tli January, 1924: — “Quotations New Zealand prime Canterbury lamb, 28/42, 10£d; Nor--11, Island ‘lamb, 28/42, XO'id; prime Canterbury mutton, 56/64, nope offering. North Island mutton, 56-64, 8d; ewes, 48/64, 6£d; New’ Zealand prime ox beef, 160/220, hinds 4d, fores 3Jd.” These prices are exstore. Mutton is very firm, lamb quiet. As compared with prices ruling last month, North Island mutton is id dearer, ewes id dearer, hinds of beef id cheaper. Lamb unchanged,
