Messrs Levin and Co. Ltd. have received the following cable Dorn their London,agents, dated the 20th December, 1923. * “The auctions- closed here today with the market firm and buyers operating freely. Compared with the closing prices of the last series we quote: Greasy Merino lid dearer; do., average, lid dearer; half50’s, 3id dearer; line crossbred, 46/48’s, 3id dearer; medium do., 44/46’s, 2id dearer; coarse, 40/44, 24d dearer; low 30/40, 2d.”
