ALLEGED THEFT OF MONEY

Francis Osman Burke, 36 years of age, was charged at the. Wellington Magistrate’s Court on Monday with the theft of £5, the property of John Singleton. The accused was also charged with stealing one notebook and papers, valued at Is, the property of Israel Gellior. On application of the police the accused was remanded to December 29th. Bail was allowed in a bond of £IOO and two sureties of £SO or one in £IOO. A condition was made that, the accused must report daily to the detective office.
