BOWLING

Members are reminded that a pairs tournament will be played on the local green on Christmas Day and Boxing Day. commencing at '9.30 a.m. The same conditions as governed the Labour Day tournament will apply, which will be found posted in the pavilion. It is probable a similar tournament will he played on New Year’s Day. Attention is drawn to a pbster placed in the Club's pavilion giving details of an electric lght tournament to tie held on the Feilding Club’s green on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, February 18th, .19th. and 20tii, 1924. The tournament will be confined to rink matches, three rounds of eleven heads each evening, play commencing at .7 p.m. Entries close on January 25th next; Owing to the wet weather on Wednesday last, the first round of the Triangular Contest, to have been played at Shannon, was postponed until some time in January.
