Notice is given in this issue by the Moutoa Drainage Board, that all rates unpaid by January 11th, 1924, will be sued for without further notice. Attention is drawn to Messrs Watson Bros, change of advertisement in to-day’s issue. They insert a list of Christmas needs that will interest all —especially as the prices are, as always, at bedrock.
The Foxton Retailers’ Association notify by advertisement that shops will close for the Christmas and New Year holidays on 25th and 26th inst., and January lst._ and 2nd. On 24th inst, shops will be open foxbusiness until 8 p.xa. and on the 29th and 31st will close at 5.30 p.m. A
