ALLEGED SHEEP STEALING.

MASTERTON FARMER CHARGED Masterton, Yesterday. •John Patrick O’Connor, a wellknown farmer and chairman of the school committee at Tinui, was charged at the Police Court to-day with having stolen two sheep, the property of David Henry Speedy, a neighbouring farmer. Accused reserved liis defence and was committed for trial, bail being allowed in £2OO and two of £IOO. O’Connor was lined £ls on each of two charges of having in his possession sheepskins without the ears.
