STATE SCHOOL CONCERT.
TOWN HALL, TO-NIGHT. The local State school concert- and distribution of prizes will take place in the Town Hall this evening. The proceedings will commence at 7.30 p.m. sharp. The following programme will be submitted: —-Primers 1 and 2: song “Christmas Eve;” primer 4 and Std. 1. (b), song: “Jack ami his Mother”; Std. 1 (a) recitation: “Good and Bad Childlen," Rose Munn; class song: “There is a Flower,” Std, IT., class song: “Flag of our Dear Homeland,” musical monologue: “Old Chap,” song: “That’s wliat God made good Mothers for,” Molly Downes; Std. HI, song “Floating,” musical sketch; Std. IV., drama: “William Tell,” class song: “Tell me where the Faries Dwell,” recitation: “Freedom, ” Edward Stevenson; Std. V. Shakesperian reading court scene “Merchant of Venice,” class song: “Dunedin from the Bay,” recitation, “Fireman’s Wedding,” Lydia Robinson, part song: “Tui Bird.” Resume of year’s work, Mr Banks, followed by distribution of prizes to conclude with'the National Anthem. The prices of admission are: upstairs 2/-. down stairs 1/-.
