VISIT TO MANGAHAO

P.Y MEMBERS OF TTTF. TIOROWHF.NUA POWER BOARD. Tn order to gain first-hand information in regard to the progress being made with the work at Maiigaliao and Arapeti, members of the TT.irnwhemi Power Board visited the locality vesterdav. There were present : 'Messrs Monk (chairman). Goldsmith (clerk). Overton (engineer), W. F. Barber. Alex. 'McKay, Brown. Matheson, and the representatives of the Manawatu Herald and Horowhenua Chronicle (Messrs Hornblow- and Kerslake). Misty rain fell throughout the day but this did not interfere with a thorough inspection of all the works by the party. Mr Johnston, in charge at Manga ban, met the partv and accompanied them on the tour of inspection. A full report will appear in our next issue.
