PAWN TICKET 210. Shirley Mason, who is fast becoming one of the most popular of all screen stars will appear at the Town Hall to-night in “Pawn Ticket 210.” Miss Mason is seen, at the opening of the story, as the ward 'of an aged pawnbroker. Tt develops that when she was a baby she was left at the pawnshop bv her mother. The pawnbroker, in exchange for the baby, gave the mother a pawn ticket numbered 210. and thereby hangs the tale. This production is a pleasing story well acted, and excellently directed. Its dramatic high lights are well balanced with lighter touches of humour. The scenic settings are splennid. Don’t let “Pawn Ticket 210” depart without seeing it. To-night’s Sunshine Comedy will be “Poor Fish.” Prices as usual: 0d and 1/6, children 3d and fid. Picture-goers who like a real human picture drama are strongly advised to make a point of seeing Theodore Roberts in the title role of “Grumpy” on Wednesday next. On Thursday, 6th December, “Jazz Mania.” a nine-reel lavishly dressed production, featuring Mae Murray, will be offered for approval by picture patrons. ROYAL PICTURES. “Judith of Bet India," with a cast comprising no less than Henry B. Walthall, Constance Talntadge, Mac .Marsh, Lillian Gish, and Kate Bruce will he the big D. \V. Griffith’s special at the Royal Theatre tonight. The story is adapted from the Apocrapha, and is one of the most famous romances of the Bible. Mae Marsh plays the role of Judith. It is a story of a woman’s sacrifice in time of war —the story of a woman who risked her honour for her country, Mrs Carmont has kindly consented to sing “The Holy City” accompanied by a chorus of six voices. Comedy: “His Wife’s Husband.” Viola Dana enacts the principal role in “Glass Houses,” her latest production, on Monday night. It is one of gayest comedies and is full of hilarious complications. It is a Metro production, directed by Harrav Beaumont and the scenario is written by Edith Kennedy from a story by Clara Kennedy.
