RONGOTEA FLOWER SHOW
The Rongotea- Hall presented a pleasing spectacle yesterday afternoon, il being the occasion of the Kongo lea I tori ieull ural Society’s Spring Show. Aliss 0. Nye, a local horticultural enthusiast, and Mrs Renton, of ITimatangi, figured well among- tlie prize winners. The following is a list of prizes won by local growers: —
Miscellaneous: —Geraniums, single, .Miss Nye 1; do., double: Miss Nye 1; sweet William: Mrs Renton 2. Roses: 3 varieties: Airs Renton 1 , do., cream: Aliss Nye 1 ; do., pink: .Miss Nye 1; do., crimson: Miss Nye 1 ; do., specimen bloom: Miss Nye 1; do., full blown: Mrs Renton 1. Swell Peas: La vender or blue: Aliss Nye 2, red: Aliss Nye 2, Alaroon: Miss Nve 2.
