RIFLE SHOOTING
Another practice shoot was held or. the local rifle range last Saturday at GOO yards. There was a light head wind which, at times, proved troublesome and combined with a. bad haze, made shooting very difficult. Mr A. Barnard, however, came to light again with another possible, even under these conditions. The scores were as follows: A. Barnard 50, ,T. Hartley 44, President Head 39, W. Syniornls 38. E. Eergusson 38, G. Cull 34, A. J. Johnston 20, Cadet Shaw 27, Cadet Tver 22, Cadet Head 19, Cadet Delany 14. ’ Xext Saturday a practice will he held at 300 yards. The last practice before holding trophy shoots. The ladies’ committee intend holding a shop day on December 15th. and Mrs Head will be pleased to receive anv donations.
