RIFLE SHOOTING.

A practice shoot was held at the local range on Saturday afternoon. A light wind was blowing, which, at times, proved very tricky. Mr A. Barnard, however, put on a remarkably good “possible,” the grouping of which was excellent, most of the shots being dead centre bulls. The following are the results: — A Barnard 50, Pres. Head 46, J. Hartley 44, G. Cull 42, H. Hamer 39, A. E. Admoi'e 39, W. Symons 38, C. Bamai’d 33, Cadet Tyer 30, Cadet Shaw 29, Cadet Head 2§, ,Ca,des.Delany 18, Cadet Walsh 10. Next Saturday anothei’ practice will be held at 600 yards.
