OROUA DOWNS SOLDIERS’ MEMORIAL.

TABLET TO BE UNVEILED TOMORROW. A memorial tablet is to be unveiled at the Oroua Downs Hall at 2 p.m. to-morrow by Colonel Melville to commemorate the names of those in the district who took part in the Great War. Short addresses will be delivered by the Revs. W. H. Walton, Tremain and Boothroyd. The ceremony will be of a religious nature and at the conclusion the “Last Post” will be sounded. The Foxton Silver Band will assist with the musical portion of the ceremony. All Returned Soldiers are cordially invited to participate. Special service sheets have been printed for the ceremony,
