ALL BLACKS OF 1924.

INVITATION ACCEPTED. TOUR OF ENGLAND AND FRANCE. 30 MATCHES ARRANGED. Wellington, November 7. A special meeting of the New Zealand Rugby Union this evening decided to accept the invitation of the English Rugby Union to play a series of matches in Britain and two in France, The terms agreed upon are: —The team to leave New Zealand at the end of July, 1924, and arrive in England in September, and after a week’s rest to play 30 matches, 28 in Britain and two in France, with one week’s rest between Tost matches. The players will receive no allowance. The English Union declined the New Zealand’s suggestion that 3/- a day be allowed. Though not officially it is stated that this may have the effect of limiting the choice of players to single men. It is also believed the itinerary will include matches against England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
