The following are the particulars of the draw for the second round of the Stevenson Pennants competition : Stohr and Simpson v. Smith and Wiustanley. Pearson and Hollings v. Boore and Whibley. Nye and Healey v. Boss and Mattar. Barr and Ileasman v. Walker and Downes. _ Christie and Thomson v. Ball and Walton. Huntley and Adams a bye. The final match of the first round of the Stevenson Pennants competition was played last evening, Stohr and Simpson (9) 36 beating Pearson and Hollings (12) 29, The North Island Tournament conducted by the Wanganui Centre has been set down to commence on Wednesday, December 26th., last : ing for four days. The closing date for entries is December 11th, the fee being 12/6 each player. The tournament will he for full rinks and tlie prizes to he offered are £4 4/to each member of a winning rink, and £2 2/- to the runners-up. Particulars are given by poster displayiu the local club’s pavilion.
