UNITED MISSION.
The United Mission services conducted by Mr Mains in the Town Hall, continue to be well attended, despite eounter attractions. The addresses on Thursday and last night were of particular interest to non-professing Christians. The missionor in the first address dealt with (lie new birth in Christ and last night, his subject was “gold for nothing.” He dealt with Christ’s great sacrifice for mankind and His willingness to enter every heart. The subject of Mr Mains address to-morrow (Sunday night) in the Town Hall will be: “A meeting with God” and on Monday night the subject will be “Wages.” It is anticipated that the hall will be tilled for to-morrow night’s service, which will commence at 8 o’clock sharp. The services at the lrcal churches will conclude at 7.45 p.m. in order to enable church-goers to attend in time. The mission will continue every night next week except Saturday and an effort is being made to secure the Town Hall for Wednesday so that there will he no break in the place of meeting.
