FELL SEVENTY FEET

YOUNG HINDU BADLY INJURED. Wellington, November 5. A serious accident occurred at the Hotel Arcadia, in Stout St., this morning. A young Hindu, Dayal, A toy a, 23, fell from the top of the building to the pavement, 70ft. below. Fortunately the'* man struck the teiephone wires, which broke his fall, or he would have been kiUsd., outright. As it was he sustained a broken light aim and leg, badly cut head and internal injuries. He was taken to the hospital in a precarious condition. Moya was engaged cleaning the windows and evidently climbed over the parapet to reach the cornice below when he missed his grip and fell.
