RUN OVER BY TRAINS.
MAN’S BODY FOUND. Oamaru, October 22. The body of a man believed to be Hugh C. Ross, a returned soldier, of Central Otago, was found near tbjr. railway line beside the Oamaru trotting course at 5.30 o’clock this evening. It is believed that he was endeavouring to get on a train leaving the racecourse when he fell under the wheels. Death was apparently instantaneous.
