The Government Meteorologist wires as follows at noon to-day. The indications are for easterly winds, strong to gale prevailing. The weather appears likely to be cloudy and unsettled. Heavy ram is to be expected with rivers Hooded. Barometer falling, seas heavy, tides poor.
