RETAILERS’ ASSOCIATION.

The monthly meeting of the Foxton Retailers' Association was held last night, Mr Christie presiding. Bowe thanked the Association for receiving them. He said the hall would cost £GO(f, and they had £250 in cash and a section. —It was decided to assist by holding a shop day in Foxton on November 3rd. A committee consisting of the chairman, Messrs AYinsfanley ahd Smith were appointed to wait on the business people who had not joined s the Association, and to point out the benefits derived from membership.
