FOXTON RACING CLUB.
TENDER ACCEPTED FOB CLUB'S OFFICE. At a meeting' of the Foxtou Racing Club Committee, presided over by iWr W. E. Barbel", on Tuesday night, tlie tender of Air Hunt was accepted for the excel ion of the club's office in Alain Street, next to the Herald cdlice and tlie erection ut the building is to be commenced forthwith. The building will till up the full frontage of the section, a width of 2!) feet by a depth of 46 feet. The main otliee will be 14 feet by 21 feet, with two large windows at the front. -A vestibule 0 feet by 19 feet gives access to the office, and also to the board room, the latter being 29 feet by 46 feet. The building is to be of brick, with inside walls of plaster, and ceiling of beaver board. The front of the office is to be tuekpointed, and when completed will present an ornate appearance. Messrs L. G. West and Son, of Palmerston North, are the architects. The building is to be ready for occupation by the annual meeting.
