BOWLING.

On Saturday of this week three clubs in the Manawatu Centre will hold their official opening, viz., Shannon, Levin and Terrace End. Fox ton Club has only been represented at the openings of two greens this season —Peilding and Manawatu, and it is somewhat unfortunate from this point of view that Saturday should have been selected as opening day by all but ope club —Bulls —in the Centre. Foxton Club, consisting as it does of mostly Wednesday players, lips, therefore, found it difficult- to participate in these functions. Any members able to make the trip to Shannon, Levin or Terrace End on Saturday are asked to. notify the Secretary or President forthwith.
