FOXTON TRAIN SERVICE.
CARRIAGE OF GOODS. Some little time ago Air J. A. Nash, ALP., received a complaint from Palmerston North residents concei’ning deliveries on the Foxton train service (says the Manawatu Standard). He communicated with the Alinister on the mattei’, and has received fi’om him a reply stating that arrangements have been made for goods from Palmerston North to Bainesse to be despatched by the morning, train on Wednesday and the aftrnoon train on Saturday. Goods for Himatangi may now be despatched by tlie morning trains on Wednesday and Friday. Small lots of goods for these stations will continue to be sent by the roadside waggon daily.
