MISSION OF HEALING.
REPORTED CURE IN AUCKLAND Auckland, Last Night. Reports are being received daily of the benefit derived by many attending the intercessory services preparing for the Hickson mission. The Rev. H. M. Smyth, vicar of Sts Peter’s Anglican Church, Onehunga, has received a letter Horn his father, the Rev. Jasper Smyth, that his sight has been fully restored, after suffering from a cataract over the right eye for 18 months. Air Smyth snr., who is 83 years, says he was preparing candidates for the mission, and it was suggested that he should he a candidate. He and his circle made it a matter of prayer fit the intercessory services and,at the last meeting he found the affected eye was running all the time. At the close of the service he discovered that the cataract had altogether dissolved and that his sight was restored.
