A paper entitled: “Franchise Day” was read by Mr- Chrystall, and was listened to most attentively. Mrs Banks read a report on the Provincial Convention, held in Levin last month. Both speakers were accorded a hearty vole of thanks. Afternoon tea was handed round, and the meeting closed with a vote of thanks to the Presbyterian Church committee for the use of the Sunday School. The meetings for next quarter arc to he hold in the Anglican Snnda\ School.
