Taumarunui, September Iff. A man, believed to be named Oliver .lames Pearson, of Auckland, was discovered dead in a bedroom at one of the local hotels about 11 o’clock this morning. Ilis throat was cut, and a razor was found lying beside the body. I'lie deceased booked at the hotel last, night, and had breakfast, in bed this morning, when he was believed to be unwell.
