BOWLING.

The secretary of the local Bowling Club has received intimation from the Northern Bowling Club, Palmerston North, to the effect that the latter club is opening its green on Saturday, 22nd inst., and extending an invitation to the Foxton Club to be represented by one rink. Those able to attend the green to-morrow afternoon to assist in the. “working bee” for the purpose of putting the Club’s property in order for the official opening are urged to do so, as the near approach of that date necessitates this work being pushed on with all vigour.
