SALE OF WORK.
;,j SONIC ITALL—TO-MORROW. To-morrow afternoon the Masonic Hall will present a hive of industry. The oeeasion will he the sale of work by the lady members of the Presbyterian Church. For .week’s past the promoters have been busy preparing; useful articles m fancy art needlework so dear to the heart of the fair sex. These will be 0,1 sale at prices which should effect a ready clearance. Then there will be a cake stall laden with a great variety of cakes and cookies. The sweets stall —no we had better not try and describe what it will contain —just drop round and sample for yourself. Then there is the produce stall, containing dressed poultry, joints, vegetables, and fruit —,-pal Paddy’s market on a small scale.
Afternoon tea will be served free. Admission is by silver coin. If a clearance is not effected in tlie afternoon the sale will continue in the evening.
