WANGANUI SPRING MEETING. The first day of the Wanganui Jockey Club’s Spring meeting was held on Thursday. The following were the results: — Putiki Hack Handicap:—Doleful Ditty 1, Velociform 2, Valencia 3. Won by a short head, half a length between second and third. Time 1.54 2/5. Maiden Race: —Soliform 1, Cushat 2, Mountain Crag 3. “Won by a length each way. Time 1.16 2/5. Okehu Hurdles: —Lochson 1, Listowel 2, Eerie 3. Won by a length, with a. neck between second and third. Time 3.17 2/5.

Jumpers’ Flat Handicap.—Gold Star 1, Dempsey 2, Copiplex 3. Won by a nose, with a head between second and third. Time 2.15 4/5. Wanganui Guineas: —Razzle Dazzle 1, Reremoana 2, Attractive 3. Won by one and a-half lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time 1.45 4/5. Durie Hack Handicap:—Sunny Vale 1, Black Cruiser 2, Civility 3.
